Hi there. I’m Alex, also known as the rocking chief cook. A veteran sailor from Arctic waters on traditional sailing ships, hooked for life, I just can’t get my hands off square riggers.

And ashore? Well, from Country Inns to fancy restaurants I have done just about everything, all across Europe, and am known to be on to every dodge. But all those fine houses come with a huge disadvantage: they simply do not sail as well as the Eye of the Wind.

And no matter what the weather, I cater for every taste.
