Blue water sailing. These words make the heart of every sailing enthusiast beat faster. Because the experience of spending several weeks surrounded only by the vast ocean is one that stays in your memory forever. Sailing in harmony with nature is the focus of such a trip; passengers and regular crew grow even closer together than usual during such a voyage. Counting nautical miles, simply admiring the nature of the sea, perhaps climbing the mast from time to time and enjoying the view – this is the luxury class of doing nothing. On an Atlantic voyage with a tall ship, you will be “boundlessly happy”.

Sailing adventure of the year: Across the Atlantic under sails!

The largest of the Canary Islands is often referred to as the "island of eternal spring" because of its incomparable climate. Its secret lies in its combination of scenic and cultural diversity. The striking contrasts between young volcanic areas, mountain landscapes, ancient laurel forests, bizarre rock gorges and beaches are already apparent as you approach from the sea. Spain's highest mountain, Pico del Teide, towers above it all. Make the most of your stay by strolling along the boulevards ("Ramblas") in the vibrant capital Santa Cruz and taking a detour to the tropical city park. If you want to spend a few days on the island, it is worth taking a trip to the old wine-trading town of La Orotava or the mountain regions of the Anaga and Teno ranges.

In Bridgetown, the main port and economic centre of the island of Barbados, we feel like we are in "Little England", here at the intersection between the Caribbean Sea and the open Atlantic. The easternmost island of the Lesser Antilles cannot hide its British colonial heritage, especially in the capital.
Here on the west coast, the ocean rests in all shades of green and blue, while in the east of the island, mighty ocean waves roll in for brave surfers. Around Hastings, on the southern outskirts of Bridgetown, one dream beach follows another – all freely accessible to locals and tourists alike. In the bars and streets between Brownes Beach and Miami Beach, the island's evening and nightlife pulsates with a Caribbean vibe that could hardly be more authentic.
