If you want to successfully carry through a sailing maneuver you need to:
- Set a goal and tell your crew
- Think of a strategy to reach the goal
- Before the maneuver: discuss the maneuver and assign the parts and tasks
- During the maneuver: coordinate your crew and solve upcoming difficulties
- After the maneuver: discuss the maneuver and keep in mind what was good and what needs further practice
During this training you will see how schemes and techniques become second nature to you and lead your team to success. An experience that can be directly reflected to your daily business routine.
The training concept
These trainings take 2 or 3 days that you will spend on board at sea practicing sailing and docking maneuvers. With an experienced trainer to give instructions and the captain and crew offering support you will practice successful leading behavior in changing roles. You will get to know which characteristics and behaviors supported and which deterred you from reaching your goal.
The group consists of no more than 10 participants. The departure ports are conveniently chosen, the sailing area is attractive and ideal for sailing.
